Expression Wednesdays

->New post every Wednesday.

Wickie Wackie Drum Circle

Saturday July 19, 2014 My day went a little like this… In my, in my, in my head The world is yours for the taking said a little voice in my head… My phone was alarming Jesse Royal’s song This Morning and evidently it was […]

The day just attracts good vibes.

When I was in high school, our drumming ensemble would have our meetings on Wednesdays. I’ve joined L’Acadco and our main day for drumming is Wednesday.

Or is it that Wednesdays attract the beat of a drum?

Drumming creates good vibes as well and as such is pulled to Wednesdays?

Drumming releases your pent up stress, clears your mind, lifts your mood, makes you want to dance, makes you want to sing even.

It creates a flame within one, that attracts that day like a moth?

I’m sure I’m not the only one that sees the vibes that Wednesdays attract, in Reggae Month, February, the free concerts are every Wednesday. Therefore  getting irie because of Roots Rock Reggae Music, on a Wednesday cannot purely be coincidence.  #ReggaeMusicFiPlay #LetTheGoodVibesRun

It doesn’t stop there, Dubwise, a new event, happens every Wednesday as well; it’s another reggae event, this one showcasing the Dub side of Roots Rock Reggae Music. Rocking the night away, and getting lost in the vibrations of the bass…

Did I mention Wednesdays are my favourite day of the week?

“The pull of the drum is strong, give in to the riddim.”

L'Acadco Dance Show & Book launch

Saturday, July 5, 2014 I didn’t get to watch the show but here are some pictures of my day 😀 *covers face* the veins in my forehead stand up when I’m really happy or I’ve been laughing too much, this was the day after the […]

The L'Acadco Drum Xplosion Show

This isn’t a review of the show because I didn’t watch the show… I performed in the show, so this is a story about the show from behind the curtains and all the exciting (& stressful) moments that come with planning a show.

Remember, anyone who tries to tell you it’s a small world hasn’t tried to see it all.

You will chase your voice like a dog chasing a car, but you’ll never catch it. Because you were your voice all along. You were never the dog. You were always the car. –Chuck Wendig
