One Coco: Bayspring
Today I have the third, and final, item I bought at A Jamaican Made Christmas; it is a Bayspring Coffee Scrub with peppermint. I hope y’all don’t get tired of me and the coffee scrubs… I doubt anyone could get tired of coffee scrubs though, they smell so divine. I try not to drink too much coffee, and what better way to get a coffee fix? I get to smell it, and get soft skin, all at the same time. This is the third coffee scrub I’ve bought in 2017; and I’m proud to say they were all from Jamaican brands. I’ve tried a coffee sugar scrub from Morgan’s Creek, and a dry coffee & oatmeal scrub from I Love Sweetness.
I love coffee, cocoa, and vanilla scented products; and since coffee scrubs have such good benefits for the skin, I reach for that when purchasing body scrubs. I have other body scrubs that I want to try but I’ll get to them eventually; to keep within my budget and to not be wasteful I only purchase a new scrub once the one I have is finished. The Bayspring coffee scrub I chose is different because it has peppermint oil in it. This is the newest addition to my Coco basket.
I like to use the coffee scrub before I shave my legs, just to get off any excess dead skin cells. I also use it on any random day, using a body scrub is like scrubbing all your stress and troubles away, it leaves my skin feeling extra soft, and with a hint of freshly brewed coffee. The peppermint oil gives a slight tingle, along with its pleasant fragrance; if you don’t like the scent of peppermint (that’s wild) I wouldn’t get this one because it is strong enough for you to notice it.
I give it a 4/5 rating: the packaging is nice, the product itself is great, I love how abrasive this scrub is but on the downside I think it leaves too much oil after rinsing. I would recommend you give this scrub a try.
